He's a feather painting now?! That's awesome! (and a cool new paint job for the guitar) Looks 100% more awesome on the plumage of one of his avian friends.

This may seem like a silly..very broad question..but..How does one do a "feather painting"
I feel like every time I would stroke the brush..the feather "threads" (I don't know the word for them) would spread apart. Is there a special technique to this that every feather artist uses...Or does the technique differ from artist to artist?
Sorry for bothering, but I'm a very inquisitive person and find feather painting fascinating :3

As with any form of artwork, there are a bunch of ways to do the same thing. I don't know how all feather artists keep the barbs from splitting, but I do so by not only pressing very lightly, but also by painting "against the grain" of the feather.
Thanks for inquiring about my feather paintings! If I can answer any more questions, please let me know!
