Something quickly doodled in my free time between pictures~You may have noticed, despite my furry-central art, I am still 100% Sonic trash. It's where my origins of art come from. Can't be helped. Sonic Boom itself isn't a series I'm interested in (mainly because it's not aimed at my age group) but I watch it to see my favorite duo in animation. Amy's been a favorite of mine for years, and Sticks may be trumping her. ahaha I can relate to Sticks in the My Fair Sticksy episode, since I'm no where near fancy. ;u; Thought it would be funny in the montage to see Sticks trying to walk in heels for the first time. I bet Amy can run in heels. Don't trust her.
Another point- Amy and Sticks have the most adorable dresses, while Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles barely dressed up.

The issue about Sticks behaving so awkwardly to dress so elegantly in that Sonic Boom episode was so hilarious! At least, our badger must have experienced the so called "fancy world". XD
And yes, Amy and Sticks truly had the most lovely dresses! If only the guys had taken example from them...

They wear clothes so I'd consider them fancier than the rest of the characters to be honest. Sonic doesn't compare.

To be honest, I wasn't looking at the TV when she ripped off her dress, so all I saw was she somehow teleported into her regular attire. o: Thought it was an animation error until I rewatched it to get the outfit references to make this picture.

Sonic Boom (TV series) isn't aimed at my age group either (I'm 30) but that doesn't stop me from enjoying it. BTW I think that Sonic Boom is the best thing to happen to Amy in years.

Oh, no, I meant the target age group. It's like how My Little Pony is aimed for children, specifically little girls, but seems to reach an older audience. Neither of us are in the target age group (with me being 16), so the show should specifically cater to us. That doesn't mean you shouldn't enjoy it! ;u;
Overall I'm a bit disappointed in how Amy has turned out. She's... taking on a new persona. In the past, you could see her as a hot head who was head over heels for Sonic. Now, she's an annoying control freak. That's what I've gotten from the episodes that have been released, though. This is subject to change, and I hope it does. She was pretty much my favorite growing up, and I really hoped she would be completely removed from an obnoxious stereotype come Sonic Boom. I'm... not very thrilled by how she's been treated, so I'll keep imagining her as the strong, sweet, and caring character from my childhood. c':

I personally really like her in Sonic Boom and don't think she acts like an obnoxious stereotype at all. She just acts more normal around Sonic now without her love/crush for Sonic taking over her whole character. The main series she can be a sweet girl but her crush can be very flanderized and she has a very possessive personality and it turns people off about her. I know main series Amy has some good traits in her but it's really sad when people thinks that Amy's only purpose in the Sonic series is to be the obsessive fangirl who chases after Sonic and I just want people to take her a bit seriously. Amy has way more potential then being just that. Sonic Boom Amy shows that she can still be a strong, sweet and caring character and there's way more to her personality then just being head over heels for Sonic. I like that her crush on Sonic is still there in Boom but this time she's keeping it more under wraps about it. Also Sonic is being way more friendly and nice to her this time so yay.

I don't think Silver was ever confirmed but I do know Shadow was. or at least they made one episode with him in a scene.

I'm interested in seeing Shadow although knowing how the series is going, he'll end up a goth emo. :/ And then be thrown into some sort of love triangle between Sonic and Amy. AGAIN. Disappointing, really.
