Description
This is my desktop for Arch Linux! I am not done as I am still changing it around and seeing what I like, but you get the general idea. This is a collection of various ways I have it set up and will upload a finalized version when I am done. I learned a lot as I have never used conky before and I love it. I encourage anyone to give it a try because it is fun creating your own personal desktop! Even more so if your starting with something like Arch and essentially building from the ground up. ^__^I have dual monitors so this is a screenshot of both of them. Except the Vampire Hunter D one.
This is a modification of amazing Galaxy Blossom Conky setup which was inspired by londonali1010's Cherries Conky Package [link]
The weather is a modification of weather setup.
The icons in the toolbar were done by . His icons are amazing. If you're looking for something anime inspired he has a ton of them!
I will try to provide the config files. Currently they are kind of messy from me tweaking them and adding stuff. I want to make them presentable and easily customizable. = )
The terminals are a wonderful emulator called Tilda. They are awesome and really complete a setup as they can be transparent and all sorts of good stuff!
And on the right is my favorite console player cmus. I customized that as well and wrote a script to display the album art on the bottom. I just can't live without album art! Also it scrobbles to last.fm.
On the screenshots with the links on the right is chromium full screened. That is my browser homepage that a made from scratch all of the images and everything. I think it integrates nicely with this. ^__^
