Excuse me as I talk about characters as if they're real...Keith is my musician/songwriter boy, but as far as he's concerned his life is pretty good and so then he takes most of his inspiration from his friends. The song I used in the picture is JC Chasez' Dear Goodbye [link] because JC really reminds me of how Keith would sound... and that song is so representative of the breakup of Keith's twin sister Amanda and his best friend Lance. It's just the kind of thing he'd be inspired with... and the cd is what inspired me to draw him
On a completely different note, it amuses me that Keith and Amanda look so much alike and yet where she is severe, he can look soft as a character... and it fits their personalities so well ^_^
Otherwise, I mostly drew him shirtless because his body's one I've had trouble nailing. He's not stacked like Lance and not toned like Link... think I got it okay. Individualism makes characters, imo

I adore the way gravity works on his hair. When you mentioned drawing him with a goatee because he looked too much like Amanda, I thought: isn't that just what a guy who looked like his sister would do for himself if he could? lol. That's just perfect.

I'm so amused you said goatees are manly... I started drawing Keith with his goatee and sideburns because he kept looking like Amanda with short hair. Poor too-girly boy needed a bit of visible testosterone

wow..he is beautiful...rather different from his sister..but it's awesome that he would write a song about her, it puts this..kinship between them, instead of the normal sibling rivalry. i love how clean this is with the lines and shading. the expression is wonderful as well...all around great job!!

I love how you draw man-hips and often have the pants on your character's pulled down low enough so we can see 'em. Very sexy. Your style is really one of a kind! Also, I really like the way you draw lips.

Characters should be real! I love mine to death... but every now and then it occurs to me just how totally insane I sound ranting on about them, especially when trying to tell uninvolved parties of things like RPG occurances. "And then Maggie said... and then Lance was all..." ... ...yeaaaah *is crazy*

I usually only talk about my characters around my friends that know about them. And they do it vice-versa with their characters... So it's all good!
And actually... I'd be a little scared if some of my characters came to life. I think they'd destroy me for all the embarrassing roleplays that I put them in.

haha, me too... but sometimes I talk to my friends in public forums and forget that other people can see me *stamps BRIGHT on forehead* ...you mean you can see me talking? >_>
Now that you mention it... I'd be scared, too. And not just because of the revenge factor (Bridgette, I am so sorry for the drunk RPG. Really.) My characters would be those people I stalk but would scare me to death to actually meet... both because of popularity/coolness/forewardness and because they're just plain (slightly) scary.

Okay, I am SHAMED but I will say that I am thoroghly(sp?) disgusted with myself for not ever commenting on your art sooner. Your characters are SO beautiful, like the Roman GODS or something. They look so real. And Keith is no exception to the rule! X_X He's got such a great body! I just wanna... argh, so handsome, I swear. I just want to reach out and play with his hair, too. And you have such a great grasp of anatomy-especially MALE anatomy, damn you! X.X
