Description
This is version 2 as I accidentally sat on the first one and broke it, so this one is made out of fimo clay, not totally happy with it, but it was fun playing with clay. I have Serah's cosplay waiting to wear but I still haven't gotten around to making the leg parts, group cosplays come first. Other than that it's ready to go! (I'm still keeping the first one I made up instead of replacing it with this one as the first one I made was the first time I had ever tried to model something with clay/tac)Series: Final Fantasy XIII

[link] is my old tutorial, this time I made it out of fimo clay as the blue tac was to weak (just do the same and cook it at the end before you paint it, I should really make an up to date more detailed tutorial ><

Wonderful job! How did you manage to keep the spiral form all around? I had to made it flat behind or else it would end as a mess inside the oven :/

I baked the inner part first, then slowly added the spiral parts (not as a whole piece but by blending parts with my fingers) the back has flattened a little bit but only on the second spiral as I used a hair dryer to harden it a bit first

I made one for a friend. It looks ok in the front but if you look the back...well xDD it's a bit messy.

It's only clay so if it does stab me it'll break before it breaks my skin lol
and the edges are rounded (may not look like it) everything is smooth :3

This one is made from FIMO clay? How'd you manage to do such fine details?
I have a bugger of a time using the stuff, as I find it's either too hard or too soft. :/

I started off with a butter knife, but it wasn't any good so I just used my fingers D: I have an old tutorial on it but it's the one from blue-tac lol no idea if that would be any help. It looks harder than it is by the picture >.>
