I believe the entire Satyrs "series" is adorable and heart-warming. And I hope that any and all of the creators and users of the whole idea keep on drawing and writing.
Please never let the intolerance of a select few, whose sole purpose in life is to make others just as miserable and alone as they are, dampen your spirits and nor crush any hope you have of continuing your work. There will always be those who hate what they cannot understand, but it is up to the rest of us to show what is truly the essence of our passions.
On a more personal note to DJ-black-n-white, My wife and I had read your Mini comic about Applejack and her daughter losing her first tooth and we both thought it was very heart-warming. I hope you will keep showing all of us the beauty of this series.
Also, your Avatar name, is it after Micheal Jackson's Song "Black or White"?? I ask because it is one of my favourite songs because it sends the message of tolerance and peace and how we should all look at one another NOT by the colour of one's skin, but by where we all come from, what our character is and that underneath our thin layer of multicoloured skin, we are all the same

I didn't create the idea of satyrs. The only satyrs that existed before mine was "Hope", the one pictured here hugging "Pogo"(Pinkie's son). Hope was the original one and I honor that. I simply created about 10 more satyrs for the thread I frequented. So they went from 1 satyr to 11 in just over a week. And I continue to make more. The satyrs piqued the interest of other anons who joined the threads and began to contribute.
