Reminds me of a momentary joy in my young adult life, when I spotted a woman much like her and dressed mostly like her hitchiking in my neighborhood. I stopped and she climbed in. Turned out she was a waitress at a pole dancing club and an English major at a local university. She was in thigh boots and carting around copies of William Faulkner! Be still my bursting heart! Chatted her up to no avail, but did she her in action on that pole one night.
All I can say is: Ladies dressed like this and hitchhiking had better be carrying a whip or other defensive weaponry of some kind.

I don't, that's why I got rid of the top.. but I lost my entire portfolio to a bad lap top and I'm re-editing my pictures.

That's what sucks.. it's all gone!! I'm just now starting to try to get some of it back, but a lot of photographers never resent the images and I'll never get any of my other files back. Hard drives shouldn't make a clunking sound when you boot the computer up! Ugh.. I miss my lap top!!!!!!

I lost about two months of shooting cause my computer went beserk and it hurt like hell so i cant even begin to imagine what it would be to lose all my work...
I hope you can get most of it back and if you dont you can always start kind of fresh...Its just that it must be a realy screwed up feeling to lose so much work. Sorry.
You must start getting regular backups with several copies as well as a couple of printed copies.

I've got a cd burner now so that's going to help me a lot. I also have a seperate hard drive for my portfolio for added space and security. I was thinking of getting a firewire drive too.. I'm not taking any chances anymore! But at the same time I went back and looked at a few of the things I had and realized that a lot of it wasn't worth taking the time to get back. Besides I'm getting much better work now!
