Nala and Sarafina Decide to take Mheetu, and Escape the Pridelands During Scar's reign as King.

The way I see it.. Mheetu was supposed to be a cub and simba/nala were supposed to be teens. in the original script anyways. simba was supposed to save mheetu from the stampede, which scar still started, trying to get simba killed.

sooo, Nala was still a little cub when simba and mufasa were out of the picture and scar took over. so i think that sarafina was preggers with mheetu directly before, or during scar's reign.
(even though theres a comic featuring him while simba and nala are STILL cubbies)

im just going with what works for the film

Nala looks a tad smaller than Sarafina here because shes a teen/young adult.

and
do NOT use these colors for Mheetu as a cub, his colors were altered to fit the lighting/color scheme of this specific scene/pic.
his day time colors are ALOT more different than they appear here.

soo i think that this little "stunt" here will be the resulting reason as to why Sarafina doesnt really make a "noted" appearance in the second half of the film, or the second movie.

and also why mheetu is NEVER seen in the film.

the plot thickens...
