A Commission forOf her lovely character Zava'ttieri.
This was a bit of a challenge/fun to do. And I am glad to be finished with it LOL
Really, Drawing anthros is an interesting thing. I don't do it too often.
I don't think this really needs a mature filter on it.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy it Mwokozii!

Oh man, I love the way you did the colors. I mean, with the shading you really made it pop. Not to mention, I love how you added more of a realism feel to this piece. I have always been a fan of your work, but this was seriously inspiring to me. I am glad you were able to work with a character that really showed what you can do!

A peculiar piece, but one worthy of praise for both the hazy lighting which instantly suggests a setting sun and the skill with which you have rendered the Aztec-esque garland of feathers. They are something that has always given me trouble anytime I attempt to draw them, but you have a real skill
In general, I really like the different elements in the character. Both the feline nature of the woman herself and the feathers reminding me of the Aztecs, as I previously mentioned. The necklace a grotty line of trophies that seem reminiscent of Saxon or Viking warrior culture. And the mask almost seems a nod to a decadent Renaissance masked ball.
I don't know if I'm reading too much into it, but I enjoy work that makes me think and like to muse upon what may have inspired all the various artistic choices you made here.
In any case, it's great work and you should be very proud
