I was going to suggest that you need a car with a shorter bonnet (perhaps a ) but reading some of the comments, I think that it may be the thing that's anchoring the picture. However, for me it's the best of the series, it has a really overpowering dynamism.

Thanks Eric. That was not a big car (larger that the Twingo though), but that was a wide angle. I hear you, I have a lot more closer to this one that the two others, that I might post.

By far my favourite in the series. I love the motion blur of the tree's branches being driven past and moving in the wind. Very "dark"

djailledie In reply to ArtlessHmmmm [2011-01-21 05:48:46 +0000 UTC]

Really? What I like on the two other one is the horizon that anchors the images, which I am missing on this one. Most of the images that I took in this session were like this one, but I didn't post them.

ArtlessHmmmm In reply to djailledie [2011-01-21 13:14:48 +0000 UTC]

i liked the one with the horizon where the trees were most apparent on the left - but the plainest one - the first most distant one - i struggled with...

djailledie In reply to ArtlessHmmmm [2011-01-24 05:47:21 +0000 UTC]

Interesting. I don't use blur that much - I used to but I find it a bit overrated - and I liked how the line on the ground was well "anchored".

This series has a kind of delirious and rather frightening feel to it. Damn, you don't feel safe looking at them, and I don't want to cruise these roads under these conditons. All three shots are very bleak, chilling, and making you expect the worst.

There is precious little to be seen in these shots, but they work strongly on an emotional level that is gripping and unnerving at the same time.

An awesome threesome!

5 days under such a sick sky is a long time. If one is not affected by it, then he/she is not human.

djailledie In reply to partiallyHere [2011-01-13 05:28:54 +0000 UTC]

Ca me parait naturel.

partiallyHere In reply to djailledie [2011-01-13 10:53:26 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! I was bothered at first because I was loosing this horizon that I had in the two others, that was giving a "heavy" sky feel, but I decided to still post this one.
