Drawn while drawing Akai for Jin-Dou.. I haven't forgotten! She's just hard to draw... D:YUSH! Not very happy with the perspective of the sword behind her back. I just realized how I could fix that... and the blue sheat is screwed up too.. ah well.. to lazy to fix. XDDD
Drawing the wrap for the swords made me go dizzy eyed... so that's why the swords to the right are so screwed up....
I'm happeh with the character though... 8D

History: Ever since Artemis was young, little Artemis despised the village's treatment to girls. Girls weren't allowed to use the sword. So of course, she (YUSH! Artemis is a girl! XD) ran away from home. (is it just me, or do I see some sort of trend in my characters.... O_o;; )
Yush, so she found she had natural talent with the sword and could beat most guys her age. Of course, she would be dressed as a guy, so they wouldn't know that they've just been trounced by a girl.
Oh, and another reason she ran away dressed as a guy, is because her ambition was to join a pirate crew. Of course, not very many pirates would accept a girl... o3o
She got her scars defending some merchants who were jumped by bandits.
So yush, not very creative... but makes me happy.

XD Naw, the handles are really screwed up. :B I love making up fresh new charries. So much fun. Actually, I can only draw a different person if they're an existing character/person. I can't draw a random character. I just can't. I need to create a character/background story and such. XD But it's fun to make those characters from scratch.
