Is it just me, or does this remind anyone else of Tim Burton? With all the swirls and Danny's slightly crazy look?

It's like shadows movind around withing the hair making it black in sections. Sort of like Rorschach's mask (from the movie Watchmen) works.

Good job. The only question for me is What about what is Danny wearing or look like from the waist down? What pants or shoes is he wearing? Does he still have his Phantom jumpsuit on or is it just as shadowed as from his waist up?

Well, the shadows are his clothes. Danny's outfit is actually just the shadow's cloaking him, just like it's shown in the picture. : The shadows surrounding Danny's new form look almost like they're consuming him, giving it that feeling of Danny's struggle between his good and evil intentions. The shadows, I feel, symbolizes Danny's want for revenge and how he wants payback for the injustices Dash has put him through as his mind becomes cloaked with dark thoughts. But his remaining form, his white hair and his body, show that Danny's human half still resides within him and is preventing him from doing anything irrational. Just like Danny Fenton would when he was alive. His remaining form within the dark shows that his want for revenge hasn't completely consumed him nor clouded his judgement.

I sort of gathered that was the vision you had by now because I was responding to djanubis ' replies to my comments on his/her deviation, One hit ghost- sketches , that was submitted based on the contest you placed and later won. Like I commented on in FanFiction.Net , I hope his current ghost form is only temporary and he gains some of his former Danny Phantom appearance. I just love his living ghost form that he normally is portrayed using in most fanfics. I completely understand if you have to change it somewhat based on his experiences in the One Hit fanfic, just please don't change his ghost form to where he is completely unrecognizable at all to the people of Amity Park.

He isn't wearing clothes, he's wearing shadows. His form is shrouded in darkness and most of the time only his eyes or his face are visible.

So let me get this straight, the lower half of Danny is similar to Johnny 13's shadow? That's my understanding of your response anyway. I could be wrong.

Have you read the last chapter the author updated? Danny's appearance as a ghost is sort of described there. It’s not like Johnny’s shadow, more like the shadows try to take a hold of his form. Like they create a sort of robe from darkness.

Yeah I read the chapter, but wasn't that clear to me. This response certainly gives a better mental image and clears things up when interpreting your art that goes with the fic. I swore that at somepoint he was going to keep his phantom coloring permanently like when he was alive in ghost form and jumpsuit with minor or major changes when he dies, but I'm not one who drew the sketches or the author of the fic so I can't really complain.

Well, I can't really talk for the author, so I don't really know if the Danny from the story had any clothing at all under that darkness. All I can tell you is that in my personal design, Danny loses his clothes since he sort of lost the clear division in his personality between Fenton and Phantom, the darkness was meant to represent that confusion and loss. So maybe the author will later on reveal he keeps his Phantom outfit... that I still don't know.

That is great description especially with the sketches to provide the visual aid. The description from Dash's POV in the story, especially since the shadow moves contantly, really coincides or hits the nail on the head with this interpretation. You and the author seem to read each other's mind and get similar descriptions to match up. I think anyway. Regardless, you and the author are each doing a great job. I hope that in the end, after Danny gets his justice or revenge on Dash that he gets his old jumpsuit and phantom coloring back and continues to protect Amity Park.

If this is what Danny looks like as a full ghost, sign me up! You did real awesome with these sketches. Now I see Danny for this fanfic in a whole new way. I was wondering why Dash didn't recognize either of his halves and now I know why.
