just a question...how long does it take to do the hair on your portraits? it looks so awesome!!! and real the shading must be a reall pain in the butt to do on all those strands of hair. oO

Bout an hour, give or take. Depends on what kind of hair I have to do.

I love the detail in this piece. I have to admit I haven't seen many of Fonda's films (in fact I've only ever seen Jesse James) but I'm looking into getting a few more.

Thank you so much! And I have to say, His movies are all spectacular. I dunno which one to suggest. "Once upon a time in the West" is a Classic (but I'd suggest seeing his regular good guy films first) I really like "Cheyenne Social Club" with Jimmy Stewart cause it's just classic adorable buddy movie with them. "Grapes of Wrath" of course, "The Lady Eve" is one with very young cute Fonda and shows more of his young awkwardness. "12 Angry Men" is a Must see movie for anyone. Henry Fonda or not, it's one of the most brilliant movies ever made and every actors just steals the movie. There's so many, but honestly no matter which ones of his movies you see, you can't loose!

I absolutely love the hint of blue in the eyes. It's a simple portrait yet there's so much going on here. I'm always, always amazed at the photo-realistic quality you put into these

Thank you. He's always had such Honesty and integrity in his eyes, but hidden behind them you can see a very shy and unsure person. And I wanted to show off those Baby blues he's known for but I didn't want it to be black and white with Bright Cerulean eyes. So I wanted to add just enough color so when you see it you're like "I can't tell if there's actually color there or if it's just colored in a way where it seems like I can see color" And I think I pulled it off. Glad to see you appreciated it!

Gorgeous. There's a lot of subdued emotion in this. At least that's what I get from it, lol. And omg, his eyebrows. They're almost attached to his hair. They're like forehead sideburns.
