Description
Burai the Dragon Ranger or Tommy the Green Ranger depending on what you're familiarity/preferences are. Drawn by eye using a combination of 4B and no. 2 pencils, and a photo print-out for ref. Not too thrilled with how the helmet turned out, but the rest is pretty decent.Reading the section descriptions that pop-up during submission I would say the exact term for this would be a "fanart portrait" as it's a portrait drawing of a character rather than any specific person.

I love the MMPR, I wacth the Power series since I was a kid and I thinking that MMPR (season 1 ) is better the the rest of the series. And Dragon Ranger and the Zyuranger are awsome also, trust me I'm a Power ranger Fan

The original 3 seasons were quite a bit of fun in their own way. I enjoyed the sci-fi vibe a lot of the later seasons adopted though too, especially PR: Lost Galaxy.

I liked Burai when he was out for revenge against Geki (the Red Ranger) for the death of his father in episodes 17-22 of Juurin Sentai Zyuranger....and hated Tommy when he was a mere puppet of Rita Repulsa in Mighty Morphing Power Rangers Season One.

Of course. It's like...Burai is sentenced to spend the rest of his short life in a domain where a green candle represented his life span, when it burns out he dies....and Tommy is sentenced to losing his Morpher at the most inappropriate times.

If you don't know, the Philippines has the MOST liking in Super Sentais in the 90's. I used to watch Maskman, Jetman, Fiveman and Turborangers!

Hey i think that the picture you did of Tommy rocks, although he's had many different powers over the years nothing will ever beat him as the green ranger. And i should know i've been a fan of the show since it first aired and i still am.

The Green Ranger was my fav. I like the first couple seasons of Power Rangers and then it just got dumb.
The only episode I watched from a later season past turbo was when they had everyone who had ever been a red ranger on. I downloaded it at some point and wish I still had it. That is a great drawing.

I've only watched the show sporatically in recent years as well. I tend to prefer watching the Japanese originals, but the episodes like Forever Red which are done completely by the U.S. team are actually pretty good.

His American counterpart just couldn't seem to escape the show at all. And yeah the original Dragon Ranger storyline made that show.

The first 3 episodes have been subtitled by tv-nihon, I don't know what the status is on the rest of the series though. There used to be sites that offered fan-tapes, and sometimes you can find some of those on e-bay.
