I've been looking it up. It's definitely a fine subject. If I had to side with someone on the ethical discussion of it, I'd share my views with a Christopher McKay by default. He argues that as long as there is no native life, then it's ethically sound. And if there is, we should help it co-evolve and co-exist. Definitely something that should be used more often in science fiction.

Sounds fair, and justified. I'm all for that, unless we desperately need to survive, in which case if the Planet only houses very primitive life, then I don't see a problem in Terraforming that planet to be in line with our Physiology/Biology.

I like. Heard if we could pressurize the surface of the moon to that of sea level on earth it would take a 1000 years for it to drift off, and most of it would head back towards earth. So we could technically terraform the moon and just keep the atmosphere replenished.

It you think about it Terraforming would be the ultimate evolutionary step life on one planet could take, effectively making the planet from which the life forms depart a "cell" with a "virus" which has traveled to another cell, i.e. planet, and "infected it", i.e. transformed it into a copy of the original cell/planet. So by Terraforming another planet the human race could definitely be considered a virus, especially if life already existed in some form on that other planet!

ahhh yes, the Matrix interrogation scene XD... Very interesting point of view and kind of right too But, Even though we are a biological entity, can we class an intelligent race a virus? This needs to be debated over, even though I can't stand humans and being 1 at the moment because we are so ignorant and misuse our intelligence, its a shame but true! lol. I think the universe is big enough for everything no matter what is and does inside of it. It becomes a moral thing, which doesn’t matter at the core of it because Life chooses what way to go because of survival. Everything wants to survive and live, but its impossible for bio life to do so, but Intelligence and robotics can live practically until the end of time. Its all very deep and messes with yo mind but I just want to see us all to not be ignorant, control our emotions, live in peace and terraform moons and planets for knowledge and fun ... Respect
