About a half hour ago, I finished watching the latest episode of MLP, "Fake It Till You Make It", where Rarity leaves Fluttershy in charge of her fashion store's Manehatten location while she attends a big fashion expo in Canterlot. But because of her inexperience with running a store (and lack of knowledge about fashion), Fluttershy decides to rely on posing as three different types of social cliques found in Manehatten in order to cater to each type of customer and keep business booming. One of them being the Brooding Goth.

Now I actually had this idea in my head BEFORE I watched the episode; Lucy and her friend Haiku, excited that Fluttershy had (supposedly) embraced their culture, decide to welcome her into their little goth club by putting her through a little initiation ritual. Which involves reading the works of Poe and Lovecraft, and having her read them back. 😁
