Description An illustration for Legends of Therangard of our royals, Aredein and Saoirse. They had an arranged marriage that neither one particularly wanted, which caused them to have a rough start, but there's still a little hope for them. They actually have moments when they get along once in a while now, such as this one here at their masquerade festival.

Two of my friends and I are writing the story now. It will probably be a few years before it's finished, but once it gets closer to completion I'll probably be posting updates about it here on dA, and of course I'll be doing plenty of concept art.

Awww, thank you! I'm *shamelesslyprocrastinating* finding more time to do personal paintings this semester since we have less creative homework--it's mostly still lives and live model sculpture/drawing--so I've been able to experiment with my digital art and find better ways to paint recently. Miss you too, and all the rest of our crazy 3D class!

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! These guys' story is a lot different from Romeo and Juliet's, but now that you mention it I can see the resemblance in the illustration.

This image captures Are and Sao's relationship perfectly XD A little closeness, a little awkwardness, and a truckload of confusion X) You got Are perfect, as I've already said. This one..... this could be a book cover

Awwwwww, thankew. I'm glad you like it--These two take forever to cooperate whenever I try painting them, but I'm happy with how they turned out this time. ^^ I don't know about book covers, but I feel like I could turn this into a L'oriel advertizement if I touched up Are's swishy hair a little more. XD

And I wasn't thinking of Jac until that shape turned into a swishy feather, but it could probably be him. XD
