Description An attempt at photo-realism with Saoirse. It took a lot longer than I meant for it to--I should really learn to use moderation when it comes to experimenting with the liquefy and transform tools--but I'm pretty happy with her.

Glossy effect on her lips and mouth is amazing. Don't go into photo realism. It kills the expression in the work. Btw, i just damn love her eyes and overall look.

Thank you very much!  I definitely wouldn't try going anymore photo realistic than I have in this piece--although I'd like to be capable of such detail, I don't see the point in copying what a camera can already do with only a click.  It sure is nice coming close to the balance I've been trying to achieve, though!  I think this is the first time I've been really happy with the eyes and mouth in a portrait.

XD  I'm very much inclined to agree with you.  I think if they competed, the amount of hair-flipping-dazzliness flying through the air would cause them both to burst into flame.  That'd be an interesting end to the story...

Maybe at the last moment he tosses his thick wavy locks into the torrent of dazzle's path and absorbs it all in one magnificent hair-flip, saving his damsel whilst Radian is incinerated.  ^^  Better?
