I like it one because Lars rocks and two youve done a great job. I've been trying to use colour pencils and I just don't know how to get a clean finish it always seem to end all messed up and smudged. Yours looks great. Rocks.

This is a really nice work, you portrayed Lars awesomely, it’s pretty obvious who he is just by looking at it, you got all the featured nicely done and facial structure is really nice.
I really like the way you handled the darker shades, it gives a lot of contrast and keep the portrait interesting however there are some things I believe could be improved upon, especially in regards to his skin tone, it looks very monotone, personally I would like to see more colors used to make the skin tone more interesting and at the same time more realistic, for example it looks like only a few different colors were used but I would suggest using a bigger and more varied color palette for his skin, using purple, blue and green tone may seem a bit weird for skin but results can be pretty good, try experimenting with more colors for skin until you find something you like.
Another thing I wanted to comment on is textures, keep mind that skin has a texture as well as does fabric and other things in life, try to play with that concept and observe carefully the different textures on the image you’re drawing, I feel as if the portrait is missing a bit of textures in his skin to make him seem more “alive”.
Finally I wanted to compliment you on the overall work, you did awesome in portraying his face, also his eyes are really good and it seems as if his looking right at the viewer, that’s a very nice effect, also the work on his hair is pretty good. Overall you a very good work, just keep practicing and developing your style.

Thank you, I know I didn't do a good job on his skin, it was my first paint with color pencil for portraits, And now I'm working on new piece and I will try to do mt best this time, Thankx for your advice my friend

Thankx my friend, I like metallica, The are the best for me... You know I faced a little trouble with this drawing because of the paper I used and because of my niece, she spill a little spot of juice on his forehead
I have derwent artist 72 pack I bought it just to try it And now I'm ordering prismacolor 132 soft color pencil to try it TOO
