UPDATE #1 (a few minutes later): fixed some paint leakage and added a thicker outline to match the show's style.UPDATE #2 (the next day): adjusted Sam's left arm slightly.
This is something I sketched soon after watching the video of Butch Hartman drawing Danny Phantom's protagonists ten years older than what they appeared in the show. While I liked one of the new designs for Sam, I always felt that she wasn't 'goth' enough.

The archive contains the working resolution file, a 50% resize and a 25% resize, the latter being most suitable for blogs and image boards.

I have to admit that while I have an affinity for Gothic characters, Same wasn't really one I thought to highly of because I feel they tried too hard with her and honestly, she came off more as a neo-hippy who just happened to be Gothic-inclined rather than a "Goth" goth. And while I liked Butch's take on Sam in her 20s, I actually do like this one slightly more. This look is just so 90s Romantic Gothic and I'm a sucker for designs like that. Very Morticia Addams like.

She looks incredibly beautiful , I love while her corset adds detail it doesn't take away from the simplicity of the look itself but doesn't keep it from looking too plain. Her hairstyle with the rose and her black eyeliner and lipstick just complete this look !

Love it! It reminds me a lot of one of your old sketches with Sam as an actual goth (not the fake goth clichΓ© we usually see in media, lol). I really loved that concept, and now I remember I wanted to ask you for your permission to clean and color it... But I forgot it, sorry

This is sort of a refresher to see then what I have seen of Sam. Honestly I can't agree 100% on the look but I do find this pretty awesome to see.

Most of the goths I saw back in the day (turn of the millennium) looked mostly like she does there. I don't consider "goth" this thing where you don't wear these long-ass black dresses and make your face look super white, but then again, there's probably different subcultures and fashion choices/fads within the whole thing and I generally don't know shit about all that since I do not partake in the culture.
