Description
The Abra were not a race that the Hoshi:: Watarimono ever described as frightening - merely "powerful." For some reason, however, the artifact called "The Heart Of Darkness" inspires horror in the crews of all craft that pass within 1 km of the object.

At first, the 55 meter box seems unremarkable. It appears to have no source of power, and orbits without fuss around the gas giant Megrohanas. One would not think that an object in uncontested space would inspire anxiety, yet spacecraft crews are barely able to function when in close proximity to the structure.

The closest that any spacecraft has come to the artifact was when an Odu:: Emberek (human) vessel approached to within 500 meters. They were able to remain at the distance for only 30 seconds, at which point the captain panicked entirely, ordered the ship back to its home port, and subsequently resigned.
