Description **Re-submitting this as I finally came across an amazing scanner which lets me scan at 600 DPI and I don't have to edit anything on it...other than gray-scaling it as the cream color of the paper gets washed out of the scan. So basically you're seeing the drawing as is, just without a cream hue haha.**

**Original comments about the drawing**
Here's the finished drawing of Thom Yorke. I tried to incorporate some of Radiohead's album covers into the piece. I finally fixed my scanner a bit, but it still washed out a lot of the lighter tones on his face. I'll probably tweak a few spots here and there over the week just to add more depth to it, but this is basically the finished product. It's an 11"X14" drawing done with a mechanical pencil and blending stumps on cream colored paper. Approx. 18 hours went into this piece. Thanks for looking!

You really have come a long way from your earlier works of 2003. I can't wait to see what you've got in store for us in the future.

Hmm, haha ok, I don't really see all that much improvement besides the color change.

I didn't touch the drawing haha...but in this one none of the flesh tones got washed out. for some reason the other scanner I used before completely washed some of the tones on his face making it look like I left white areas, which I didn't..I shaded the his whole face, so that's the main improvement really...that and I didn't have to scan it in parts and then piece together haha

Do you remember the brand name? Is it a Cannon? I'm starting to think I might want to buy one of those continuous-pull large format scanners if I can raise the funds...

it's a huuuge printer that we got this past year that just happens to have a decent scanner as well...we used to have a different scanner that worked wonders but it was small. I'm not sure what the brand is though. I'll check on Monday and let ya know!
