Will the comic versions ever come back as their own ongoing series? I'm sure the movie, whether an accurate representation of the source material or not, has brought a lot of attention to the series and the characters, so it would only make sense for Marvel to continue!... Right?

who knows, as Marvel have no plans to do another BH6 comics, like Disney wanted them to do Big Hero 6 comics for promote the film, but Marvel refused to do BH6 comics.

After seeing the movie, I have to ask: will you be re-releasing this at any point? The only copies you can get now go for $70+ everywhere I look.
I desperately want to have a physical copy of the series now, since all I've had access too in the past were digital scans of some sort!

I would rather say the fact that there were no well-known characters on the team scared people of. Plus a lot of people just dislike Chris Claremont so they weren't even willing to give it a try

Cool. I see where you are going with this. The one thing (for me) that makes comic-art style drawing more interesting is that it lends itself to a greater variety of character variations - especially facial features. Whereas manga style tends to simplify the nose and mouth so much, that you end up with less variety. The thing with manga is that the good artists come up with amazing clothing designs and great poses.
I really enjoy good works in both fields, but for me I will always enjoy the comic-art style slightly more.

I can't wait to see it. I have been sooooo behind on comics, about two years behind! But I will get off my butt and make sure I pick up Big Hero 6! I recognize Honey, Go Go and Hiro. Not sure if that is a redesigned Baymax (the mech looking character) and of course the red Dino in the back reminds me of Devil Dinosaur (who I loved as a kid and could not get enough off!) I am sure you guys have a few new characters too, though I think Sunfire never gets enough page time! Now I am inspired and will have to do some BH6 fan art! Oh and kudos for getting to work with Claremont! That must be a dream come true to work with a legend like that! Not that Emily is chopped liver! I have learned how much a good colorist can add to your artwork!

The original BH6 comics from the '90s were drawn in a completely Western style, which seemed like a missed opportunity to me. I give Marvel a lot of credit for letting us mix in some anime touches on the new series.
