EDIT 10-20-14: So apparently Disney snuck this cover into the BIG HERO 6 movie--how cool is that?! There's a scene in the first third where Hiro and Tadashi are having a conversation in their room. Tadashi lounges in his bed and flips through this very issue--AWESOME!!-------------------
BIG HERO 6 #1 cover. We wanted to do something fresh and different with the covers for this series, hence the unusual logo treatment and collage elements.
I really enjoy what Emily did with the colors on this one, combining gradients with flat colors. It looks like an old school Japanese wood block print, but with a modern twist.

The movie versions of the characters are not like the originals while they possess more character qualities of characters from the show Teen titans instead of being themselves adapted from the original source material. Baymax is not a balloon robot for example and he is suppose to transform into a dragon robot.

Yeah, its mainly their own original version of Big Hero 6. It not really based off the whole entire thing, its loosely based off of it. Kinda like how Frozen is loosely based off The Snow Queen but creating a new original concept. And Tangled.

Cool, I think this is great. The full size image is quite small though. It would be cool to see how you have tackled the faces, especially the eyes. Obviously you have posted it small so that art-thieves don't try and steal your work ( which can be a real nightmare )

Actually starting to prepare for WWT. I was working on a comic called Shadow Fox..but it went under...then one called Talon. Then the creator decided to become a tattoo artist. So just submitting my work..and doing commissions. Have a great time at SDCC my friend!
