Description
     Even though I'm the hero and stuff, I can still have a weakness. Right? 'Cause my weaknesses are ghosts and zombies. I'm terrified of them. But like I said, I'm the hero, so I won't tell anybody that I'm afraid of anything; especially not Kiku Honda; my best friend / love interest.  Actually, I was headed to his house right now. In the dark. With spooky trees all around me. I ran into his house, frantic and scared for my life.
     "Yo Kiku! What's up?" I asked to the small Asian boy as he walked into the living area I was standing in. He was in jeans and a T-Shirt advertising his family owned sushi restaurant. I smiled at him.
     "Oh nothing. Let's go to the movie theatre. I heard about a good movie that just came out and we should go see it. Come on," Kiku said opening the door and walking outside. I followed after him and walked beside him for a few silent seconds, just staring at his creamy white skin and how it glowed in the moonlight and how his brown eyes seemed to sparkle. I blushed and focused more on my creepy surroundings; the full moon, dark shadows, and creamy white blobs floating around the spiny trees. Wait—creamy white blobs THAT LOOK LIKE GHOSTS???? My heart pounded loudly and I stopped walking; frozen in fear. My face paled and I screamed.  Kiku stopped walking and ran over to me, putting his hands on my shoulders and begging to know what happened.
     "Alfred? Alfred!! Are you all right? Oh God, what happened?" Kiku asked. My throat was shut and I couldn't talk. I could only stare at the white figures floating through the trees. Kiku's worried eyes followed where I was looking and he let out a breathy sigh of relief.
     "Alfred, those are only sheets. My little brother and sister were playing ghost and didn't clean up after themselves, " Kiku said. What he said didn't register with me and when Kiku walked to the nearest blob, I ran after him and grabbed him from behind, pulling him to the ground.
     "Kiku! No please don't go to the ghosts! They'll kill you, and I don't want you to die! The ghosts just want to take away the only person I love! It always happens in the movies like this!" I said, snuggling into Kiku's back, completely aware that I just told my best friend that I really loved him. Kiku turned around, his gaze soft as he leaned over and hugged me.
     "They're sheets, but I think it's sweet that you want to protect me.  I-I love you too," he said and I could feel him blushing on my shoulder. I wrapped my arms around him and stood up, relieved and overjoyed that he loved me too, but not really certain that they were only sheets. We continued walking to the movie theatre but I wasn't all that scared anymore since we were holding hands.
