I like this one the best, it has movement and a bg,and is your most complete work so it stands out, if they were all like this than wow!

yeah i know, I tend not to have backgrounds in my pieces. I've got the okay to do a couple things with massive backgrounds. Those will be up in a few weeks.

It might look better but personally I feel that it wouldn't. The picture already has so much going on that with a more complicated background the details would get lost in confusion.

Nice work here mate -
Maybe try to add some colour holds - they'll help smooth down the edges of the smoke!
Good colour choice for the background - it shows understanding of colour theory!

I know what you mean, I took a 2 or 3 week break from art and I guess I was a little rusty. Don't know what a color hold is could you explain that. I've never colored any thing that was just pencils before so it was a learning experience. I'm not a fan at all of this piece but hey, you have to have some things your not proud of in your gallery.

yep, So I came back with plenty of emotion from that and see I learned from past mistakes, I didnt take it out in anger I harnessed it and I created the greatest piece ever and there was even some left over to start a second that should be up within the hour

Hahahahahahaha. nice work mate!
If anybody tells you "you can't do my work justice", they're not worth talking to, nor should they be taken seriously in a community of artists. Keep up the hard work. Study Frank Frazetta (that's what I do ahah) Check out a few guys like Arnold Tsang, or anyone from Udon for that matter. There are a lot of guys on here that really do some nice stuff that you could look at and learn yourself. Great work thus far!

Yeah, I really just started coloring seriously 2 months or so ago and I found asking a couple of people on here really helped further my developement. I'll check the guys you mentioned out too.
