…AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Originally, I wanted to draw Filia’s entire body and have Lina and Gourry ride on her neck. I figured that while it would’ve made the picture look big, it made Lina and Gourry look small. So I thought, if that were the case, why not draw small versions of Lina and Gourry and have them ride on Filia’s head? Not only did it solve the problem regarding Lina and Gourry, it also kept the picture down to a more manageable size.

Tools of the trade:

Bensia refillable pencil – rough sketch (on A4 bond paper)
Quikidon 0.5 mechanical pencil – details and corrections (on A4 tracing paper)
Yoken technical drawing pen 1.0 – inks (on A4 tracing paper)
Canon F630P flatbed scanner – scans
Adobe Photoshop 5.0 – colors
Corel Draw 8.0 – background, titles, signature
Me – I’m a total tool
