My Black Deck would not exist i f I haven't stumbled upond Joseph Vargo's Deck. His dark, gothic deck inspired me and motivated me I love his Card "The Chariot", it is almost perfect with the hearse and black horses, though in my opinion it lacks power. So my horses are more frantic and wild, their pace is faster, they seem more unstoppable, also the coach man is less passive, he stands with his fist up in a victorious gesture, as the The Chariot stands for triumph. (Also I would not be myself if I had not added some more detailed background).I hope you like it.

Amazing as always! I've been rather curious about something for a while now, and this might be a silly question, but... are you doing your cards in a set order, or do you just make the cards whenever you get an idea for one?

I need idea. and it is better not to rush, better wait till idea hits me, then forcing myself to draw. It looks better when I let it go with the flow.

Maybe you've heard of Magic the Gathering? It's a trading card game where you can construct different types of decks based on different alignments: White, Blue, Black, Red and Green. The card I have, Black Carriage, reminds me a lot of your version of the Chariot...[link]

Never heard of Magic the Gathering but after looking at your card I must say it reminds me Lovecraft based cards... like Masks of Nyarlathotep or Unspeakable tales.

Well I am glad Joseph's Deck inspired you to make your own, but are one hell of a artiest with or without the deck you made!!! Do you draw pictures for people or only do personal work?

I am not good with working to order...
There are people here on DA who got a drawing for me but:
a) what they wanted was what I wanted to draw... (I do not like to force myself to draw WHAT I do not feel like drawing, it never comes as good as it could, and is a waste of time, for both parties)
b) gave unlimited deadlines (some waited 14 months ... I am crap with deadlines... I cannot draw WHEN I do not feel like it... same reason as above)
I made exception for personal friends who helped me a lot... But I do not submit this drawings to DA. And I do not hold the originals any more. - but these are very exceptional cases.
If someone would like a commission from me I usually say: be prepared to wait... long, and tell me what you want, and then I will tell you if we can have a deal

Nope our money is at a lower rate 1 New Zealand dollar = 0.8197 US dollars but it still is't bad.. and I am jut asking cause you never know I might buy one someday
