Misleading fandoms, man. Whenever my first impression proves me completely wrong, I think back on the time I tried to watch fullmetal alchemist when I was 16 and all the other 16 year old girls were drawing cutesy fan art of it... and It tore my soul to shreds to the point where I ducked out after 10 episodes and swore I wouldn't touch it again until I was 25.
