If you can read this, you are invited to the big-assed opening.October 6th 2005 (like around 6:00pm to 8:00pm or so...)

Have fun, pack the place, be nice, shake my skinny little hand, meet my friends, get a fat eyeful of my paintings, do your lame Dr. Girlfriend impersonation at me, marvel at my hair and fine taste in clothing, listen to me prattle on about paint... The works.

That picture up there kinda looks like a book cover. Unintentional, but I thought I would mention it so you wouldn't feel the need to do so.
Yes, that is my latest painting in there, SAINT No.45. A 24" x 30" oily cavalcade of ivory-black paint. It has a strange texture on it. It was my solution to this handsome girl's freckles. Kinda a shame that I used this piece to announce my show, because I would like to see this one as just a simple painting submission.
Sometimes you ask me if it is hard to sell my paintings. It's not, and I can't wait to get rid of these things and move on to bigger better work. But with that said... I would like to own this painting. Too bad I can't afford it.

Would I be treading on thin ice, or something, if I asked why you are numbering your saints. I a complete jackass, so I've probably missed something, but is there a number you're going for?

Yeah! I'll tell ya, it was fun to paint freckles. I accidentally came up with a technique for doing so. Sadly, I haven't painted a redhead since.

She is a painting... She was born this year. You never went to college with her. If you did, you would have to carry her from class to class, because I never painted her legs.
You went to college with Meg, who looks very much like this painting, as that she was the subject. And yes, I actually believe that you did go to school with her.

I TRIED to purchase a painting of yours years ago... before you had a gallery to show your work. Now I have a feeling they are out of my purchasing power... Maybe that is better. I will have to just enjoy from afar. What is the catalog people have mentioned. Is it a pamphlet of sorts...with pictures of your work. A publication? That would be nice..

That gallery also represents Malcolm Liepke. What a cool guy (he seems to be). Thursdays do not accompany weekend visits very well. One fact per sentence. I may make it up (to New York).

Sadly, I will be in Ireland during the show. (well, not THAT sadly...I love Ireland). I had wanted to see what appear to be fabulous textures for myself...maybe next time. Moving back to the East Coast in Nov.
