I had given up hope K. Rool would be in. Really. Since unlike Waluigi, Shadow or however, they at least got announced as an assist trophy. Like, some character reveals are pretty cruel to fans. (Waluigi being a REAL good example, But Takamaru's for Smash 4 was rather mean too) But for characters like K. Rool, you had to wait with baited breath until the game came out to finally show they were snubbed.I would have included K. Rool's trophies But eh, this took way to long to make. Which would be because I wanted the scene like K. Rool's lair in the show, had to slap elements together. I might show the whole set up off in the next part.

"I CAN"T GET DISAPPOINTED IF I DON'T GET MY HOPES UP!" lol. That's the kind of thinking I like to use, especially when it comes to Smash. (though admittedly, I was completely into that Grinch Smash leak before it turned out to be fake. Curse my gullible nature....!) But boy, I sure was screaming when K. Rool's trailer dropped. Now I want to go watch it again... And hey, better yet! I know it's early to judge how good characters are, but regardless, K. Rool is looking to be the best out of the heavyweights. And ignoring that, it's friggin' fun to play as him! I was a little worried he wouldn't be fun to play as so I'm glad I was proven wrong.
That long panel with all the assist trophies and whatnot came out lookin' nice. Good job on the comic!

K. Rool has no right being as fun as he is. It makes being left out for so long worth it.
That they brought back the gold plate on his gut and made it body Armour (which is something one of his original designers confirmed on Twitter) is just brilliant.
That Grinch leak was something. But then Banjo and Kazooie was just too good to be true... Shadow not being an echo is surprising, seeing how long they took to announce his assist trophy.
And that you, that panel was fun to do. I was going to make that a long sequence, but then I saw this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NGanS… which kinda did what I was going to do.

I do hope PxlCobit will make his MLSS Sprites of King K Rool soon...Not a big fan of the King of Swing style...
Think for Diddy they should make a alternate costume for Dixie...<3

I love the sprites. Its the lack of poses that annoy me. But then if Pxl whips up plenty of sprites and the look good I'll likely use them.
I'd much rather Dixie be her own character. She's never used the jet-pack or is she associated with the popguns.

Yeah I was starting to wonder if K.Rool would ever make it after three straight games with barely a mention, but that epic trailer was worth the wait

If thats the case, you must've been really surprised when he was revealed to be a fighter in smash.
On a side note, i imagine (in-universe) those smash invitations are likely sent to chosen fighters by master hand
himself.

Yes. I think so very much. From what I have seen they have K. Rool down perfectly.

Indeed, i do like how the moves we've seen so far seem to take direct
inspiration from his appearances in the DKC series of games, his crown
toss from DKC1, his blunderbuss from DKC2 and his helipack from DKC3.

And of course, his boxing gloves for his Smash attack and the Blast-O-Matic from DK64 as his final smash.

Yep, those too. Although i am admittedly not the biggest K Rool fan, it is nice to see him back in the spotlight.
