Just my opinion...but I am one of those that can not afford health care, I also believe that it is not a *Right* to have health care, and the countries that have National health care, theirs is not perfect either...in fact like here, if you have money you get better and faster care. I am talking Canada, Italy...and China is just now privatizing its health care because the government can not take care of everyone...in the States...if everyone would stop going to emergency rooms, and doctors for a sniffle, a cough...When I was growing up , we only went if it was an absolute necessity, otherwise we had moms *home care* which worked very well. Anyway these are just my opinions... and they differ greatly from both my brother and sister...so you see who is the *black sheep*!!! lol!!

In those countries there is a two tiered system. Those that can pay get deluxe, little or no wait service and the rest get whatever is ok'd by the faceless bureaucrats...rationed by price, etc. Personally? I'm sick of the whole deal. I treat Medicaid patients, and have the same damned fights as regular insurance. I'm close to saying screw it all. First I want to start the "U.S. Citizens vs. the Insurance Co.'s and Gov't." law suit for practicing medicine without a license.

Don't quit, your patients need you and I am sure you must be one of those *old fashioned beloved doctors* most of us are missing now.
