As part of my American Doctor Who challenge set to me by Knottyorchid12 a while ago.

At the time, I had a lot of difficulty coming up with a potential actress for the American version of Yaz. But, upon a second look, I've found a possibility. Technically, while she was originally born in Iran and was brought up in the UK, she has done a lot of acting for American TV. And since my choice for the 10th Doctor is technically Canadian, I think we can bend the rules a little once again.

So, my choice for the American version of Yasmin Khan, who would travel with Sarah Michelle Gellar's 13th Doctor and John Lithgow's Graham O'Brien is... Nazanin Boniadi. You may remember her as Nora from How I Met Your Mother or as Fara Sherazi in Homeland.
