Yeah sometimes! Thinking of trying it? I've been using Toon-Boom to animate flash stuff recently though, it feels infinitely easier!

Have a look or style you want to emulate when practising (your favourite animation show perhaps). Animation involves quite a bit of planning and forethought. So don't get down when something doesn't work, it's a lot of trail and error. And watch a bunch of video tutorials! Toon Boom has a whole section of free videos. Most of all have fun, be silly

It almost looks like she's doing the creep. Very nice, I dig the whole layout. You should have some worn out edges and make this look like a poster. Some really small text around the bottom that's unreadable too.

Hahaha glad you can see the slight horror movie/grind house influence. I've been wanting to do more vintage poster stuff like that but time is always an issue with me. I'm super OCD with Type and effects and I end up tweaking unnoticeable stuff endlessly. Even looking at this drives me nuts now. The neck is too small and the head isn't big enough for a toon.

hahaha, you speak to me about tweaking unnoticeable stuff? I know all too well how that works. I say aim for the finished idea and then go back and hit all the small stuff. But the problem with that is that sometimes you don't hit all of them and see them again once it's supposedly "done".
