that is the last thing I remember
she said, but it made no sense
or so I thought at the time,
the message of crows and ramblers,
kept repeating till I flipped off the switch,
then the blue light starting blinking
and the timer started
katy was too young for eternity,
she spoke of her adventures
like a hunter heading to the Dakotas for Hemingway
I don't like jail, they got the wrong kind of bars in there

I like how this isn't a painting of a flower, but a painting of the essence of a flower, the flower's soul.
