I had this one about 90% done when I set it aside to draw Tyrone Wells, while he was in town, because I wanted to finish it so my son (who's on tour with him) could give him the original before they left town again.

I forget what pencils I used for shading. Usually H, B, F, or HB for skin tones, then I just keep rubbing it with a blending stump, Q-tip, make-up application sponge, tissue, etc. Check out my TIP GUIDE? link below

Hmm so you smudge alot, i used to that, but i now use alot of marks like crosshatching to shade. Thank you anyway ^^

it looks okay enlarged, but thumbnail view looks weird? I plan on drawing fewer pieces in 2011, but taking much more time and going a little larger with subject's I absolutely love! That's the goal anyway ha
