I drew this about a year ago (Not significantly long after I had discovered Metroid, I'd dug around and gotten the Metroid Manga by that point so awhile.) and it came out pretty nice. I tried to pay as much attention to detail as possible when re-drawing Gray Voice from the Metroid Manga.Since it's a year old, it's a little blurry and aged, I never got to fine-lining it to ensure the details stayed clear, but hey. Just gives it some more character. I never scanned this image properly before now. I guess I was prompted to go and do so now after I once again ran into the work of ChozoBoy (his life size Super Metroid sprite cosplays are ingenious, go search him).

Maybe he does. I was mostly just copying the Manga style at the time. Surprised I don't see more fan-content of him, really.

Lots of people just outright don't know who Gray Voice is. Being in an obscure manga prequel will do that to a character, honestly.

When I first drew him I posted a link to the manga for people to look at. The best thing that can be done is always link to the manga when posting pictures with him in it. He DOES appear in ending art for fusion. Him and Old Bird.Β

The only places I know of that had it as a scan-lation ended up being taken down for copyright infringements, so I haven't been able to do that. It's not really too important in the end though.
