I bought Fire Emblem Awakening a while back. I wanted to give the series a try for a while, and I saw one of the games at a Best Buy one day and checked its reception. The ratings were very good (7-8 mostly). When I looked up the entire series, I saw that Awakening was going to be the last game in the series. After it sold really well all over the world, the series was able to continue. Well, if it saved the series from extinction, it had to be good right? I bought it, started playing it, and I couldn’t put it down. I want to play other games in the series, with Fates being next on my list. Any other games you’d recommend?

She also one of my favorite characters to use in Warriors as well. Sure she is a clone of Robin for the most part (which may have been intentional, given her feelings for him), but I love that her special attack drains health from her targets, which comes in handy if you’re using her Vengeance skill, which slowly drains your health as it raises your attack damage. It could be your last ditch effort to save yourself if you run out of potions.

I’ve seen a bunch of fanart from this game’s vast number of characters, but Tharja seems to be everyone’s favorite. Is it her outfit? Very likely. Her yandere personality? Possibly. Her interactions with the main character and her crush on him/her? Most likely. And yet, I still married her in game. Something told me if I didn’t, she’d attack me through the game screen and kill me.

She is voiced by Stephanie Sheh, the same lady who provides the voice of Sailor Moon. Their personalities are as polar opposite as you could possibly get. Even when Usagi is at her most angry, she isn’t nearly as unnerving as Tharja. I highly doubt Usagi would ever say to Tuxedo Mask during their wedding “If you back out, I’ll murder you in your sleep.” Then again, seeing Tharja with a smile on her face, and not a slasher variant, would be just as unsettling.

I’d like to make more fanart from Fire Emblem games in the future. So far, I’ve chosen Anna, Olivia, and Chrom. Not sure who else to add to that list. I’ve only played two games so far, so I don’t know too much about everyone else.
