I’ll nuke you where you stand. If you survive, you may be of some use to me off the battlefield. I could always use more lovers to entertain. On behalf of my mother Queen Malanite, you will bow down to us and surrender. Or you can satisfy us until we grow bored of you. Your choice. I’d hate to mess up your pretty face before smothering it with kisses.”

Looks like Violet got some upgrades while I was away. I had discovered this new game called Blacksmith of the Sand Kingdom. Here, you do not purchase equipment for your party; you craft it yourself. You can also enhance it with up to two runes, making it more effective however you please. The game has lots of really good equipment for every class available, and I thought “What would happen if the Princesses of Darkness went to this place, bought this equipment, and enhanced it with runes?” You advance the days by selling what you’ve made to the public, so it wouldn’t be a stretch if the Princesses of Darkness happened to stop by the Sand Kingdom (known as Muspelheim ) and purchased these items. Violet possibly stopped by one night and charmed the smithy into making the gear to her specifications, possibly getting them for a discount.

So, I went to work on modifying the princesses with their new equipment. None of the equipment in game has any artwork, but some of it shares a name with equipment from other games, which did give me some ideas on how it looked. But that also meant I could design it however I wanted, and I liked that idea. I added circles on their gear to show where the runes are, and the runes are colored to match the color the princesses like.

The princesses will all keep their weapon and the Flower Bracer (alongside whatever these do for them); everything else will be changed for their updated look. Their original outfits are also unchanged. The aforementioned Sand Kingdom isn’t the only place they did their shopping. They went other places as well. Violet also had some work done on herself to make herself more attractive for her victims, all because her mother did as well. They both got their cup size increased.

While Violet visited Hyrule, she bought some Amber Earrings, but she didn’t like the orange color, so she collected a bunch of Dusk Relics and shaped them the same way as the amber ones. She calls them Dusk Earrings, and they greatly improve her Defense. She then went to Final Fantasy’s world and found the Diamond Armlet. It turns out, she can equip it, and it raises her Defense even higher, and weighs virtually nothing. She no longer is the squishy wizard of the group. She now has much more durability than she ever thought possible. The choker she made herself, and it has a bisexual pride heart attached to it. I was inspired seeing pride pins at a con one year and decided Violet should have one as a choker. She is bisexual after all and can seduce women as easily as men. All she has to do is flip her hair, and you’re under her spell regardless of gender or orientation.

Weapon: Lilith Rod

Violet’s magic can pierce reflective and magical barriers. Raising it skyward drains magic from all nearby enemies.

(Attack +50, Magic Attack +255)

Rune 1: Magic Attack +30

Rune 2: MP +50



Shield: Mana Shield: Violet’s MP slowly regenerates with each step. The kanji pictured on it means wisdom/intelligence. These stats tend to influence the strength of your spells in other RPGs, so it was appropriate to have that pictured on her shield.

(Defense +61, Magic Attack +13, Magic Defense +71, Agility -8, Guard Rate + 17%)

Rune 1: Shield Guard +10%

Rune 2: Target Down



Headgear: Ruby Circlet: Resists cold up to 10 degrees Fahrenheit. It has been fully upgraded at fairy fountains. She can now wear her default outfit in cold environments and not suffer hypothermia.

Rune 2: Knockout Defense +25%



Armor: Mana Robe: Violet’s spells have their cost halved. She requested the robe was translucent. She didn’t like the idea of not showing off her body, which robes obscure. It has a zipper if she needs to cover up, and it goes from the top of her skirt to just below her neck. It helps keep her warm too.

(Defense +52, Magic Defense +118, Evade +40)

Rune 1: Defense +30

Rune 2: HP/MP +50



Shoes: Mana Sandals: Violet is immune to Silence. She requested the sandals have five-inch heels added. She loves wearing high heels, and never goes anywhere without them. Five-inch heels are her minimum required height. She can even wear her mother’s platform heels (which I may draw her wearing at some point)!

Accessory: Magic Power Ring: Violet’s MP is increased by 20. This ring replaces her Ring of Wisdom. She liked the idea of her spells not burning through her magic quickly, and she still made them stronger with the runes. She’s happy.

Other:

Diamond Armlet: Defense +34. She swapped out her snake bracelet for this, which was only decorative.
