Ya know, I did something like that once, except with Sonic characters.
I drew them normally once, and then cut those images into tiny square-shaped pieces and re-arranged them at random.
I then took that as a reference, and voilà .

Ya know, here's a possible sequel scenario;
Lyra sitting' human-style in her couch, wearing a pair of pants, hindlegs resting on Bonbon's middle-section lying on the ground. Except that Bonbon's backside is walking up from the side, carrying a tray of discarded food-items, with Bonbon's front standing in the kitchen with a broom in her mouth, while a bunch of dirty dishes are slowly traveling along her elongated back through slight vibrating-motions. Basically, she's doing spring-cleaning, with her body stretching and twisting around a dozen corners and all over the place.
All the while, Lyra is just sitting there and thinking to herself: "And they think *I'm* the strange one.
And then Bonbon could comment on Lyra's laziness or something.
