I get where Luna's coming from.
It's like why directors are not allowed to move anything on set; It so that nobody's job is taken from them just for convenience's sake.

Poor Lulu just doesn't get it. Predicting Celestia's next lines now. It's gonna be along the lines of: "Luna. How can I ask my subjects to do that which I am not willing to do? I am perfectly fine with doing the little things myself if I have the time. It really is a wonderful way to relax after running a country, in actuality. And how would it look if I had servants waiting on me wing and hoof? At that point, they may as well breath for me."

You know this argument could be solved with a speech of, "You know, sometimes...I just want to be like everyone else once in a while. It makes me feel like I'm a pony(person) and I actually contribute. Plus it makes me relatable to our subjects, that I know that I'm not afraid to get my hooves dirty & know what an honest days work feels like. I don't feel so helpless & they feel I'm willing do to the work & put in the effort to get the job done."
And the fact they gave hints of this same concept with her making Pancakes for Starlight makes me smile.

I'm sorry Luna but I agree with Celestia, I don't see the harm in a leader doing chores, it gives them a better reputation and their people would see them differently in a caring way.
