Drawing for Mother's day. When I was a 4-6 years old, I wanted a realistic lion costume so I could be scary and protect my mom from Burglars, Pirates and Robots because those were a thing. Despite having been a timid kid, I've had the protect-mom-at-all-costs mentality for as long as I can remember. Although we've had a pretty troubled relationship, I'd still do anything to keep her safe and am absolutely terrified of losing her. She means the world to me.Happy early Mother's day to all good mothers out there! Treat your kids well. And treat your mothers well if they do.

This is so cute! Love the soft colours! The fawns look so innocent and the mother looks like she's ready to protect them.
The backstory is cute, too. But in the eyes of a child that must been really stressfull sometimes, too.
