What parts of your prompt were written well and easy to understand? Was there anything the writer of the prompt could improve on or include next time they create a prompt?
The whole prompt was super easy to work with! It had a clear direction but left some room for interpretation and gave me various options to choose from. I loved the music that was included! That's something I never would have thought of, but it ended up being probably my biggest source of inspiration for this.

Please explain how you interpreted the prompt to create your design. Which features did you use? Did you stick to the chosen palette or make changes to it? Does the design you created have any special abilities or quirks?
I was going for a rebel/smuggler angle with this. Charming but also feared and ruthless! I attempted to use steampunk and sci-fi elements with the boots, gun, gloves, belt, and bronze accents. I didn't go super crazy with the eyes, but I did try to make them look striking and vaguely alien. I tried to include most of the clothing elements that were mentioned, althought the jacket didn't end up very pilot-y. I stuck to the dirty/desaturated brown color palette with orange as my "pop" color. I know the design was supposed to be kept fairly simple, but I wasn't sure how simple. To avoid overthinking it I decided to worry less about how many details I put in and focus on using elements that would maintain a strong, distinctive silhouette regardless of how far they were simplified - hence the jacket, scarf, and hairstyle. I did my best to keep the design androgynous but I'm not sure how well I succeeded. Lastly, the music had a huge influence on the tone of the design! I got very space western/gunslinger vibes from it, so I tried to incorporate that not necessarily into the actual design elements, but into the overall tone and personality of the character/pose/design.

This is the first time I've done any kind of character design challenge and I found it a little (a lot!) intimidating designing something for a stranger. Especially one whose art and character designs are as beautiful as Luunan's! But the prompt was wonderfully written and right up my alley, and once I got over my nervousness I had a lot of fun with it. I hope I've done it justice! And of course please feel free to alter anything you don't like about it.
