I love this picture not only because of the man's weathered face, but because of the beard. It reminds me of a pine or ever greet tree(the prickly ones that seem to last an eternity.)

i love this photo because he looks very weathered and wise but he seems to regret some of the things he has seen in his life. he almost seems to be crying.

In the thumbnail I thought it was a wise old man, but your photo captured more. He looks like a weathered old man, perhaps not so wise. Probabally a little more beaten down. Wow, I love the stories your photos my mind can build around.

Yeah, he was pretty weathered. I took this photo in this very small rule town called Old Shawnee town in IL. It's a very poor town and most of it was fallling apart. I gave this man a few bucks for his time.
