Are you implying people that are HIV positive don't have great personalities?

Amazing photo nonetheless. I'm really enjoying the recent stuff you've been doing. Keep it up.

No, just two separate facts, he is HIV positive and he also has a great personality, I really meant great attitude. He keeps very positive.

I am usually one to prefer B&W.

I think with this photograph though, you did the colour beautifully, it impacts the viewer so deeply...

I love this shot, this is so touching. Thank you for sharing it.

You've achieved an amazing graphic style in this photograph that one usually only sees in black & white photography. The limited focal depth intensifies the subject's facial expression by accentuating the eyes and mouth. The halo-like effect behind his head adds more "pop," and the mix of blurred and focused sections gives the image a painterly quality. Beautiful work, and a terrific subject! +fav!

Interesting study. And by the way - the idea is not bad. But the truth ist: Iยดm more in the pure classic b/w-style. The technique you use for this pictures is - in my eyes - to dramatic and fat for this sensible subject about stranded and homeless people. I prefer a more journalistic style for something like this. Because it will look more like the truth, not like a part of a movie, a fantasy or a photoshop work. Sorry, my 2 Cents. (But, hey, iยดm a watcher of your work and your great art . )

I agree. Emotionally it's great, but I don't like the technique.
