Another commission for Sisi1117 :3 and also the first thing I drew (partly) on my new Cintiq Companion!
I'm still getting used to SAI but it's pretty cool so far.
The reference was kind of difficult to follow in a few places, but I hope I did okay ;o; thanks again for the commission!
UPDATE: I forgot the scar because I'm an idiot. Fixed that now. c: thanks again to the commissioner for being so understanding!
UPDATE HASHTAG 2: I like this title better. This stupid crush on Andy Samberg is getting absolutely ridiculous.

Wow! I really love the anatomy, on the thumbnail it looks like a photo! I have a cat myself, so I can't see any misstakes. ^-^ The fur details are awesome! The only thing I can say as a constructive critique would be the light... There is no really lightsource and no really shadows, the fur is wonderful detailled but nowhere really dark or light. If you understand what I'm trying to say... Maybe inside the ears and behind the head.
I really like how the colors match together, the red fur and the red background.

I'm just speechless. I am in love with this! Thanks so much! You're artwork is gorgeous and it keeps getting better and better! I know the reference was a little difficult to follow since he was a calico. I mentioned that he had a scar going through his right eye, kind of like Scar's from the Lion King. I don't know if you saw that.
Other than this minor thing, he is fabulous!

I definitely see sexy improvement with this. I like how the fur has more variation in it, in length and direction. They eyes are incredibly realistic as well. 
The only thing I'd like to see different is perhaps more hairs straying into the insides of the ears. 
10/10 would do this artwork.

and hmm if you really want me to find things... I really like this piece, but the eyes still "come out" a bit? Maybe put more shadows on the right side of the eyes (especially for the left one if I'm correct that the light source is on the right).
also if the head is on a different layer, you could put more fur under it so it looks like the fur doesn't just start at the chest if you know what I mean? Like more clumps are above but you only see the ends?
Also if the light is coming from the back you could make the right ear lighter because they're a bit seethrough with light behind them... That's prolly really hard tho so just an idea c:
I just realized, if the cat is hissing, the nose would scrunch up, etc but that just depends on the reference and maybe his mouth is just open idk
These are all just really little things, and you can take them or leave them but there you go I hope that helped 8D
