Taken at the Mannequin Showroom. Not very colorful this one. But I thought this image was really eye catching because of her very striking look in her elegant and pretty white outfit. I like the laced up look around the waist part and what a tiny waist. Note the vintage eye glasses and hairstyle. It was really hard getting a shot of her without so much brightness and such extreme lighting that seemed to be centered in on her face. Also if you look at this image on a larger view you will see a nose ring which I have to say I did not like much and felt it should have been excluded. I hope you all like herRelated content

I like this as well. Like you, I'm not sure why the nose ring as I like the old glamour look and the haughty "here I am, take a good look" expression. I can well imagine it would have been difficult to capture in the light provided, but what a brilliant job you did! Well done to you

Thank you James yes that is the tiniest waist I have ever seen...it does look like a corset. Well actually way back when they used to tightened up their corsets to make a small waist I just wouldn't be able to breathe. Women these days don't have a very small waist anymore. They are much bigger then they used to be.

Yes, it has to be really bad for the abdomen, I imagine,... gosh. I can't imagine that women actually wore those back in the days. And yes, haha! Today's waists tend to be much bigger than in the ol' days.... Well, I guess that goes the same for the men out there.

Yes, when I first looked at her, the first thing I noticed is that it looked like she had a nose ring. Yes, I agree, it doesn't really seem to fit in with the rest of her vintage elegant appearance. I love her corset too.

Thank you Jewel you are very observant. In this shot it does not look so revealing until you see it on a larger view. I think it killed the whole outlook. So many of the mannequins this time had a lot of face and nose jewelry. Thanks for commenting

I told you what I think about her, which does not at all reflect upon your photography, which is always great. Do you have any other angles of her? Is she a full mannequin? When you went there, did they have catalogues there? I might check out their site when I have time, see if they show her.

Yes you most certainly did. I only took the one shot of her. Yes she was full length. I did not see any catalogs but I will ask when I go again. I know that you are curious about her because she looks like the "Bride Of Frankenstein" you think that may have been a better title
Okay now that we can get past this I feel the only thing wrong with this image is that he does have an arm missing and I did not even notice it until after I uploaded it. I have no clue as to why her waist is so tiny because I certainly couldn't lift up her dress...that would be more of a man's job. As I said there may have been some issues with her but not I think the way you expressed yourself was a bit too extreme

Btw, it's not necessary to thank me each time I fav your work. I know you appreciate every single fav you receive. You are a very, very kind person, and I'm drawn to your kindness like a magnet, I bask in all the attention you give to me and my work, but it's high time to move away from said magnet, and said attention. I was able to successfully do this with Werandra and my goal is to do the same with you. It's just harder with you, because of our passion for mannequins. But now, even they, are coming between us, but I don't what it to be a complete break, and the way to make that happen, is to shut my big mouth that caused the problem in the first place.
I'll miss talking to ya, Melissa. I have a lot of time on my hands now that I don't interact with people on DA like I used to, and every since my muse and I said our farewells, my writing has never been the same, so I don't really do that either, so I have even more time on my hands, because of that. But I'm not complaining, writing is an excruciatingly exacting process, it really takes a toll on me, and now with nothing compelling me to express anything, nothing compelling me to working on finishing any of my 9 unpublished works I was working on, I'll just... go back to staring at the polka dots on Kristen's jammies, which I finally put on her today.

You know before I get into anything I have to say I was a big hesitant about uploading this image because I had noticed a missing arm. She wasn't the most perfect and as I had said before I was not very pleased with the last bunch of mannequins so I did not take very many photos. Look Steven I am not saying that you are not entitled to your opinion. I just felt there would had been a more simpler way to comment on your dislike about the her. Two others felt that she was a bit scary looking ALTHOUGH most of my friends will always like what I upload whether they feel it was a good image or not and I feel that is because we have a certain respect and love for each other. I don't always like what they may upload either but that same love and respect won't allow me to be negative. You know I can't force you to comment if you choose not too on any future work and if you want to just fave that will be fine too. But I have noticed that you run away from situations very quickly my friend maybe a bit short tempered.But that does not take away from some of the kindness I have seen you show me. And I have missed speaking to you also and sharing our feelings about mannequins too. But I am not angry at you. I just want you to know that. Say hello to Kristen for me. She looks so cute in her pink panties.

Though your love and respect for your friends won't allow yourself to be negative, I place no such restrictions on me, so I say what I want to, positive, or negative, because I judge everything and everyone. Though positive value judgments don't bother you, negative ones do, depending upon how strong the language used is.
Yes, I run away. Fight, or flight. I choose flight. And it leaves me very, very alone. I used to choose fight, but, when I fight, the trouble I get into when I do, has, in hindsight, never been worth the fight, and that, too, has left me very, very alone. Tired of fighting, tired of flighting. Relationships with human beings are utterly exhausting.
But not with Kristen. There is no fighting, no flighting, and though I'm by myself, I'm not alone when with her.
I'm glad you are not mad at me, and I am not mad at you, no hard feelings. But, again, to be absolutely clear, it was what THEY did, not what YOU did in capturing your image, so it was nothing negative directed towards anything YOU did, but what THEY did, which was, simply put, a disgrace to the artificial human race. A disservice, for a showroom should showcase the beauty of mannequins, not make freak shows out of them. See what comes out of my big mouth when I keep talking about this? More and more negativity, so I'm done. I can only make this situation worse, hence why I left. Coming back only reaffirms why I should leave such situations, why I choose and should choose flight, over fight. While you don't have any mean bones in your body, I do.

Well the day that beautiful mannequin answers you back I think you will go into cardiac arrest! Steven you still do not understand what I am saying negative comments don't bother me if they are not to the the extreme. I feel there could of been a nicer way of expressing yourself. I feel that you just went a bit too far. I said to myself what has him so pissed off? I will agree that they should of not had this particular mannequin as a display. So I am with you on that. But I did like her dress the glasses and the hair so I took a shot of her. Look the next time you decide to mouth off I will have to just look for the duct tape. No worries we are now past that now and I know how much you adore Kristen she is a big part of your life and for you she is very real. I know how much you love video taping her too I enjoy your videos and always watch them.

Yes, the negativity I have expressed towards this one, tops any negativity expressed before, like with the transgendered one, so it's up there. I'll definitely give you that, and promise you that I will at least try not to ever take it to such a level like that again, because I do, after all, care about you as a friend and as my favorite mannequin lover.
Too bad we can't kiss and make up, but a friendly hug will just have to do.

Yes, and it also will not be necessary, because I'm on the lookout for a graphic that depicts one zipping up their mouth, so when I have negativity that I want to direct towards what's depicted, I'll just post that graphic instead, and you'll know that I wanna say something, but I'll just zip it, unless you want to unzip it. Unfortunately, I doubt you'll ever be unzipping anything on me, so said words would just go unexpressed. Or wait, I can tell Kristen them.

Did you know I love polka dots? I especially like her cute little appearance in the kitchen warming up her milk before bed and her being health conscious shows because of her petite little body that she knows keeps you happy. I adore the real life moments that you seem to enjoy with her and share with others. I noticed that you seem to favor her as a strawberry blond most...in my own opinion I like her much better in the dark haired one it looks very pretty against her skin and dark eyes.

Yeah, I seem to favor her in that wig, for some reason. It might be because it's the wig she came with and that I first saw her in, but I think it goes so well with her outfit, and makes her skin tone, at times, and in certain lights, look like coffee that has creamer/milk in it, a light caramel color, etc. Plus, I never made a video of her in that wig before, so I thought I would. It can look shiny in certain lights, making it look like a cheap costume wig, which it basically is, but it's a little better in quality than those. I love the way it looks from behind. I will be changing her wig and outfit for the next set, I think. I found a song that will play for any videos that I'll make for that set, too. By the way, I added about a dozen more images of her in this outfit to my Flickr account last night. You can see the ones I didn't upload here on DA, there:

Yes I see what you mean and I think that since she has such a lovely face that she would look wonderful in just about any wig....although I tend to like the dark hair on her I feel it gives her a sexy kind of look and the back of the hair looks pretty because of the loose relaxed curls that hang down so nicely. I think you enjoy playing with her hair as I have seen you do. I saw the photos you posted on Flickr. She is really pretty in pink. She is also real cute in her pink panties. She has a very petite and cute little body so she fits into the tiniest panties so well. Is pink your favorite color for her? Thank you for sharing her photos. I enjoyed seeing them.
