Description Here is another shot that was taken at Rootstein Mannequin Showroom. I like the way the hat looks on her although I have never seen that style before it sort of reminds me of one of them old pillbox hats that were fashionable in the 40s era. I also like her very confident pose. I think the cape compliments the dress nicely. Her brown skin looks perfect against the cream colored clothing. You do not see very many dark skinned mannequins so I always try to get a shot of one when the opportunity comes around.

Thanks so much. I enjoy hearing that Steve. It is hard working with light in that showroom so when I get a good shot I feel real pleased. Can't tell you how many I had to delete.

Fantastic shot ... really very good in the right light set .. I like their cream colored clothes, it really fits everything perfectly together

I thought so too when I saw this one I did not think I could get a good image because of the lighting in the place it is always dark in there. Appreciate your observation Patty

Now that you mention it...I don't think I have ever seen a dark skinned mannequin...

This is nice, I agree...   In the thumbnail I thought she was modeling a nurses uniform. I still did until I began to read what you wrote, about the hat in particular.

I don't see them very often but they do have them. I have yet to see a black male mannequin.....I think that is more rare then a black female mannequin. Yes her outfit does look like a nurse's uniform.

This mannequin looks very real-like a live person. It's amazing how life-like these mannequins look and I've never seen that kind of hat too.
