Portraiture practise I used a refrence from the back of an old hair magazine. This is a few months old, I actually forgot all about it :S I remember being pretty proud of this one cause hair is pretty hard for me and it came out just how I wanted
Probably because I enjoyed making it so much.

I believe I used a 4B and 6B pencil then a HB mechanical pencil for the fine lines on the hair. C:

Sometimes. Mostly I just straighten it or leave it as is. My hair is semi-curly, so it just flips out. I kinda look fluffy if I don't style it. XD

Sorry to be commenting again, BUT!!! I just realized that I had this magazine!! I was flipping through it because I'm in love with all the hair styles, and I saw this picture. I immediately remembered your drawing!!!

Thats so crazy when that happens!!! I think I've seen like a before and after shot of that model in a magazine somewhere too, she seems pretty popular with her bold features.

I know what you mean! I swear this was the first thing I ever did where the hair came out a real success. If you just look close to clunks of strands and do some observational practise it becomes easier to interpret hair.
