So this is it. My frist dress and the picture isnt the best but if i ever get a chance to take better ones i will. Untill then deal with this.Now i made quite a few changes to the dress. Mostly i made the top curve down in the chest area and i opened up the spider web webbing to make it look more .... royal? i cant seem to find a good word.
Anyway this was made over the course of about three weeks for my sister costume party. I made everyting you see,excluding the broom and i altered the hat, also the arm warmers we got at claires.
The dress has poofy sleeves with frillalong with the skirt that is in two layers,plus tulle, with frilled satin on each layer.
It was made with a common purple fabric with a common satin witha spider web materal.
I drafted my own pattern similar to how i make chothes for dolls and it turned out nicely.
I would liked to make more chothes and costumes someday. it was fun and i learned alot and still have much more to learn.

Oooh! Very lovely! Looks like a witch costume. ;3 I'm still sorta new to sewing; I haven't made a dress yet. I hope mine turns out as successful as yours! :3

Oh this took awhile. I want to very badly make more dressed but i just don't seem to have motivation unless it is Halloween. lol.

I did and i didnt. I think i was most aware of time when i made the fricking pattern. Holy hand grenades was that annoying but very worth it as i learned alot.
Oh and those spiders were fun. I dipped plastic spiders in loads of glitter.
So now that i can kinda sorta make chothes i wonder what else i should make?

yes it was. i had to think a completely diffrent way.
im like well on a doll i can just sew here and there to get the right look,well you cant really do that on a person and you have to be right on the money with the pattern.
I gave my self a little grace room but there were some places i messed up royal, but i was able to fix them.
Also i only complant was the dress was heavy, which it was.
